- a simple form or message to collect facts
How to play
- A day or two before, ask each person to send you one little-known fact about themselves that they are happy to share.
- Shuffle the facts and number them, leaving out names.
- Read one fact aloud and give everyone ten seconds to guess, by calling out or typing a name in the chat.
- Ask the owner of the fact to raise a hand or unmute and add a sentence of backstory.
- Keep score of correct guesses if the group enjoys light competition, and repeat until every fact has been read.
Tips
- Give examples of good facts, such as an unusual first job, a hidden talent or a strange collection.
- Check each fact before reading it and skip anything that might embarrass the person.
- With a large group, play ten facts per session and save the rest for future meetings.
Variations
- Picture edition: collect a photo of each person's favorite place and guess whose place it is.
- Team edition: small teams discuss and submit one guess per fact.
