People Bingo
Players mingle to find people who match prompts on a bingo card, such as someone who plays an instrument or speaks two languages.
- Time
- 15 to 20 minutes
- People
- 10+
- Where
- In person
- You need
- printed bingo cards with 16 or 25 prompts, pens
How to play
- Make a grid of 16 or 25 squares, each with a prompt like owns a houseplant, can whistle a tune, or learned a new skill this year.
- Hand out a card and pen to each person and explain that every square needs a different person's name.
- Players walk around, ask questions, and write a name in a square only when the person truly matches it.
- The first person to fill a full row, column or diagonal calls out bingo and reads their names aloud.
- Keep playing for a few more minutes so others can finish, then share the most surprising squares.
Tips
- Skip prompts about family status, health, looks or money; stick to hobbies, skills and harmless experiences.
- Anyone can stay seated and have others come to them, or pairs can play as a team.
- Add one free center square so everyone has an easy start.
Variations
- Full card: play until someone fills every square on the card.
- Table bingo: each table works together to fill one card as fast as possible.
