Zip Zap Zop
Players in a circle pass an imaginary bolt of energy by pointing and saying zip, zap and zop in order, speeding up as they go.

- People
- 6 to 25
- Where
- In person
- You need
- Nothing
How to play
- Stand or sit in a circle so everyone can see each other.
- The first player points to anyone in the circle, makes eye contact and says zip.
- That person points to someone else and says zap, and the next person says zop.
- The pattern repeats, zip, zap, zop, as fast as the group can manage.
- When someone says the wrong word or hesitates, the group cheers, and that player starts a new round.
- Play for a few minutes, speeding up each round.
Tips
- There is no elimination, so mistakes become a reason to laugh rather than a reason to sit out.
- Seated circles work just as well; pointing with a hand or a nod is enough.
- Say each player's name along with the word if eye contact is hard for anyone in the group.
Variations
- Reverse word: add a fourth word that sends the energy back to the person who just passed it.
- Name version: say the receiver's name instead of zip, zap or zop to help everyone learn names.
